WOKE is DOA in Hollywood. The fans have spoken. Hollywood had to ruin a literary classic to finally awaken the WOKE. Hopefully this is a lasting effect.
I do not go to movies anymore, I do not watch tv anymore and saved a lot of time and money, had a problem with the box they supply and just took the box back and do not miss it a bit.
I never saw “The Dark Knight”, and I’m beginning to wonder about the creeping immorality, getting worse and worse over the years, of the movies directed by Christopher Nolan. Movies that I enjoyed from Hollywood within the past ten years or so are: “Midway”, “Reagan”, and “Highwaymen”. These movies are all good, and worthwhile seeing–but mostly ignored (as usual!) by the Hollywood elite. “Midway” is about the greatest naval battle in American history, with events accurately portrayed from the 2005 book, Shattered Sword. “Reagan” is about our great, anti-communist president, who stood up to the Soviet Union and helped bring about it’s collapse. And “Highwaymen” is about what REAL law enforcement looks like, as the two popular “rock-star”-type celebrities of the 1930s, Bonnie and Clyde, are revealed in reality as brutal murderers, and finally brought to justice the “old-fashioned” way, by two old, but still COMPETENT lawmen. Some day (certainly not today, but some day)–I hope to see an equally great movie made about our current great president, and American hero, Donald J. Trump, also.

As long as Disney is heavily involved in Hollywood, woke will never be dead.
