Jan, what is hard to understand is that about New York is that the whole state is run by ONE city, NYC. It’s the same for Illinois, only there it’s Chicago. The west coast states are run by just the cities on the coast. Michigan is run by Detroit. I know some people who moved to my state from Colorado and they said the whole state is run by 2 cities. The so-called blue states aren’t as blue as they claim to be.
