If my millionaire mother sacrificed my education and childhood like this I’d despise her. I hope she enjoys it when her daughter puts her in a “low income” old folks home.

I’m Puerto Rican. My parents grew up poor and gave up a lot so I could attend private school with a bilingual education since they didn’t know English. During the 2008 economic collapse they turned in their cars and stopped buying alcohol just to keep that education going. A great part of my success now is that education they provided for me. I’m forever grateful for them and buy beer and whiskey (the good expensive kind) every time I visit. EDIT: I did not expect this many likes! First time I get this amount. Thanks to all! Gracias a todos !!!

  1. If Ms. Jones learned, she would have changed her views of the world. These Elitists never learn, even when they finally admit they were wrong. What a sick person.

Brett Cooper did a fantastic job critiquing this article, sharp young woman.

  2. Well, just another validation of how absolutely suicidally stupid and mentally disturbed these left-wing-nuts and wokesters are. The woman should have been “institutionalized.”

  3. I’m so glad that my father let me choose, what I wanted. When I was about to begin ninth grade, at 14 years old, he said I could go to private school, or stay in public school. Now, my father was affluent, not rich, but affluent, so we were already living in a good middle class town, and I was already going to a good public school system. Perhaps I should’ve chosen the private school (and my father had enough money to send me to one), but I chose to go to continue attending our public school system (despite having to deal with some sh!tty bullies, who although they were white like me, they were worse than any black kids that I knew of at that time, in that town). But, when it came time to going to college, I chose one of the best private universities in our country, and noticed the difference right away, between a public school system, and a great private school. And, our public school system in my home town was supposedly one of the better ones, too. I got to see, and study at, both–and there is almost no comparison–private schools are infinitely better. And why? Because, as the old saying goes: “you get what you pay for”, and that private university cost a lot of money to attend, then and now. But, how much is your kid’s education worth, anyway? This virtue-signaling, liberal journalist had plenty of money, yet she sent her kid to schools that cost her almost nothing, out-of-pocket. Meanwhile, my father was able to send me to a school that gave me a great education, and paid a lot of money to do so (successful as he was in his two small-business stores). And so, choice is important, and every parent and every child should have a choice, when it comes to education. I’m not saying to completely abandon public education, but if every parent had the option to educate their kids elsewhere, whether it is private school, charter school, online school, or home school, all public schools would improve drastically, from free-market competition in education. It is when local governments, teacher’s unions, and liberal political parties try to stifle competition, by removing parental choice, that we get “ghetto schools”, like those that exist in most of NYC, today.

  4. And, one more thing about this journalist: she was wrong, and she, and her daughter, are now paying the price for it. “Iniquity bringeth iniquity”, as the Bible says. She chose the God-less path of liberal radicalism, thinking only of herself, rather than of her daughter–and she is now paying for it. A long time ago, I was told to “seek God first, and all else will follow”. But how is it “seeking God”, by working for a newspaper, The NY Times, that endorsed the God-less state of the communist Soviet Union, and openly lied about the contents of the Hunter Biden laptop being “Russian disinformation”? And, by sacrificing her own daughter, for her selfish reasons? And, as long as she keeps turning away from Him, she will keep on suffering…

  5. And, for the record, as long-winded as this video was, Brett Cooper did do a good job of it (although I doubt that I will watch another 36-minute-long video of hers, anytime soon, when other conservative video presenters have much shorter videos!) Yeah, she was on the money, and her content was good; and, for the record, I am currently single and never married–and I certainly wouldn’t mind getting involved with such a beautiful young woman, with such a good head on her shoulders–for sure!!! Ha ha ha ha ha…(if, she is also single and available, that is, of course! ha ha ha ha ha ha!)
