Well, I’m a Jersey boy, and I can say without hesitation, that most of Springsteen’s music is SH!T. I listened to his first 33 1/3 rpm vinyl, when it came out, in May of 1973, as I was just finishing my junior year, at a great university–and I did NOT like a single track–not one! Mind you, for the previous 5 years or so, I had been enjoying MANY great groups and artists, like: Cream, Traffic, Mountain, Yes, Genesis, Hendrix, the Doors, Pink Floyd, Santana, Deep Purple, Spirit, Guess Who, Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, REO Speedwagon, the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Fleetwood Mac, Procol Harum, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, etc–so I could tell GOOD stuff from sh!t. And Springsteen’s first album, in 1973, was sh!t to me, in 1973. It wasn’t until 1984, that I finally heard ONE song by him that I liked–and I’ve only heard ONE other since then, 41 years later…and he is called “The Boss”–the “Boss” of what–sh!t music?!? Come on, EVERY ONE of those groups that I have listed above is BETTER than Springsteen! Sorry, Bruce…but YOUR music just SUCKS–and always has!!! And now you hang out with LOSERS, like Michelle and Barack?!? As if their politics is any better than your music…it ain’t!!!!!
