There were 11 fire trucks that were offline due to mechanical failures. Why is what people should be asking; were they in disrepair when needed? They were tax payer funded the money for the fire trucks. Was this a setup for the foothill fires? For years, taxpayers have paid for the slash-and-burns that never took place. It was the reason for some of the fires. Riverside, California, was plagued with this. They took the money and never did the work. Now, come to find out, there wasn`t even any water to put out the fires that occurred. People should be behind bars for this, but not in California. They are being allowed to run for office once again. How twisted is this, and are there ulterior ideas? People are still waiting for permits to rebuild.
