When will these companies learn?

Nike will never Lear

    • Yeah, I totally agree. Look what happened to Cracker Barrel for getting rid of their old, traditional logo–and making it woke. Every company that ignores the values of the vast majority of it’s customers will get hammered, period. They seem to forget that we also vote with our consumer dollars, not just our ballots, and we have choices in free-market competition. They forget that we actually have to WANT to buy their products and services, and that if we don’t want to–we don’t have to. And they also forget that they are in business solely to make a profit, not for any other reason–and by alienating a large part of their customer base–their profits will evaporate. They think that they can tell us what to do, what to like, what to buy–instead of the other way around. But they are wrong. We consumers choose what we want to buy–they can’t make us buy something that we don’t want. Remember Henry Ford and his tailpipe-smoking Model-T: he had something that everyone wanted, something useful, something that people loved–and so he sold millions of them, and created a great industry. But, what is so useful about Nike-brand sneakers? Or bras? Or anything else Nike? Nothing in fact that we can’t get elsewhere, from some other company, for sure!

  1. Nike must have thought they were so powerful, with such a following that they could actually pull this off. Bud thought that too. They will never recover totally from the backlash. DEI at its finest.

    • They must have been high on some drugs, when they thought that they could get away with this sh*t–that they could actually profit from this–rather than lose a lot of profits from this. Even I, mostly a technoid employee for most of my working career–rather than a business owner–could see this financial disaster coming from a mile away, so to speak. I truly think this is what happens when they try to tell us what to do, instead of letting us tell them what we want. The Democrats in the White House under Biden also thought that they could tell us what to do–and they also got hammered for it. In our society, the people tell the government what to do, what we want–not the other way around. And the same thing goes for any company, selling its products or services to us. The “customer is king”–forget that–and you might as well forget all of your profits, too!

  2. Wouldn’t it be great if a start-up company arose to challenge Nike and steal their market going completely moral, patriotic, American, anti-woke, anti-LGBTQ+ and pro women, pro male…everything that Nike isn’t now???!!!
Now might be a good time for someone like Elon to buy up Nike cheap and fire the entire board and restore the brand.

  3. I haven’t bought one thing of Nike’s since the Colin Knucklehead was hired as a representative of their brand. They are a has been, nothing company that is trying to cater to the insane. Hope your company spirals into the fire pits if hell.

  4. Ya know…I never thought that Nike was that great a brand to begin with. When I was well-paid enough to get some good sneakers at malls back in the 1980’s, during the peak of my working career (salary-wise), here in the NY Metropolitan area, I was buying Adidas sneakers–the same brand that I ran with spikes on in sports back in high school–not some fashionable, luxury brand like Nike–pushed upon us by celebrities and advertising media. Why would I throw away my money just to own a name, with no real value? And so I never bought any Nike sneakers, or anything else Nike that was new & expensive. I think I might have a Nike t-shirt that I got secondhand, but I either was given that free or bought it at some thrift store for used clothing for like a dollar or two, maybe ten years ago…? And now that this company has foolishly decided to use this queer pervert and immoral degenerate as their advertising mascot, you know that I’ll never buy any of their stuff in the future, either, right? “What fools these mortals be!” And what fools these liberal companies be who think that they can push this woke sickness upon us–without suffering heavy loss of profits, as a result. They must’ve been HIGH on drugs and not thinking clearly, when they decided to risk such heavy losses, from such an unpopular (and completely immoral) move. Dodge got punished for swallowing Biden’s EPA mandated bullsh*t, and producing and trying to sell the “first electric muscle car” (and now the last, too!) Now they have intelligently gone back to making gasoline-burning-only muscle cars, which is what buyers want, not some EV bull. But apparently there still are other companies out there who think that they can get away with trying to sell (and profit from), such widely unpopular liberalism, to the public-at-large. Frankly, I’m glad that they got hammered. They deserve it. And let this be a lesson to any company that wants to flaunt this transgender psychiatric sickness, and immoral behavior, in our faces: “we will drive you right out of business, period. You exist solely for PROFIT, which has made America great. You do not exist to promote social values, and the minute that YOU think that YOU can tell us what to do–WE will put YOU out of business. Got it?”

  5. I dont know wether everyone here on this thread know but NIKE pays Michael Jordan $250 MILLION a year for the rest of his life.
Wonder how much longer that will last. And why aren’t they using Jordan to represent instead of the FREAK and WEIRDO!?
