Unbelievable! They brought a guy to justify the use of the autopen by an administration. He uses the word delegated but when staff was asked who was the person in charge or “delegated “ (using his word) of the autopen, they all said they DID NOT KNOW . So we have a bigger problem. Was Hunter or Jill in charge? Was it the WH chef? The dog? Who? Who was delegated? And if you don’t know then NOTHING they auto signed is legit. That clown failed and Jennings exposed him!

This isn’t news, its a cartoon. I couldn’t tell what was going on.
I halfway understand and agree with the argument about delegation, sometimes a staff member or an agent needs to make decisions on behalf of an authority, they are “deputized” in a way. But there are checks and balances and limits and logic and boundaries and specific contexts and protocols, and most important accountability. Just because someone has an autopen doesn’t mean they are above scrutiny when it comes to how it is used. These are decisions that affect the public and the entire Biden administration has put us at risk, potential risk and real risk. Argue all you want, trust has been broken and there are consequences. I thank God that my president and his team have the stamina and courage to stand up to what was done.
