IF there is no punishment, the criminals have NO REASON to stop. The death penalty needs to be used, UNTIL the stats have a down turn. The “process of elimination” works, every time IT is tried. “our law are for a just & moral people, they are unfit for any other”… somebody wake up Pamela Bondi, or send Trump to hold her hands again…….

Yes. This is not like it is truly news. Billions wasted on high-speed rail that hasn’t laid a single piece of track. Devastating fires with no water. So another $78 billion, so what? No one is ever going to do anything about it. The government looks upon this the same way average people think about losing a penny out of their pocket. No one going back to find a penny. Government won’t go back and fix all the fraud, waste and abuse because the taxpayers will just give them more money.
Well said, it’s sad but true. Politicians on both sides of the aisle seem to always get away with crap like this. I would love to see someone finally be held accountable, but I won’t hold my breath!!!

This should nip Newsom’s presidential prospects in the bud. If he could do this to CA, can you imagine how wealthy he and his cronies would be running the entire country at our expense? Notice the recurring theme with all of these massive taxpayer fraud schemes? They are all run by Democrats! From the national level all the way down to state and local levels — every one of these are at the hands of Democrats. Those are OUR tax dollars being wasted.
The people involved in the fraudulent crimes need to go to prison and all of their assets seized. If the people who committed the crimes are immigrants send them back to their country of origin.
