Don’t forget Vietnam, Lost a lung there !
Vietnam was a disaster: our vets won every battle, with casualties, then the Dems in Congress sold them out, and cut the funding to our allies in South Vietnam, and that country got really WRECKED, when the communists took over (who were well-funded, well-equipped with heavy weapons, from the Soviets). Millions of South Vietnamese were killed, or imprisoned and tortured in concentration camps, or fled in open boats into the Pacific Ocean, to try to get away, from the horror of communism. If I didn’t know better, I’d say that several Dem leaders back then (and definitely nowadays, for sure!), were communist agents. Cutting the funding to ARVN, leaving them with no heavy weapons, and no advisers, made them sitting ducks for the well-funded, well-equipped tanks and other heavy weapons that the North Vietnamese communists had, with adviser support, straight from the Soviet Union. Our military suffered, for sure, there is no denying it–but the South Vietnamese suffered even more. They lost many more dead, lost all of their prosperity and businesses, had many thrown into Vietnamese gulags, lost all of their freedoms and rights, and became one of the poorest countries on Earth, for decades afterward. Meanwhile, millions tried to get away in boats into the open ocean–and how many died trying to do that? At least we didn’t have to go through that much hell, countrywide, here in the U.S. And, we were able to elect Reagan, get rid of the Dems (for a while, at least)–and let the commies have it, when we fought against Saddam Hussein in 1991–whose armored divisions were fully funded, equipped, trained, and advised by the Soviets–and were all destroyed within hours. Our continuing prosperity from our capitalism, enabled us to develop a military that made the Soviet military look like it had never changed from WWII–whereas ours had whole new systems and networks that they couldn’t begin to develop. Frankly, I believe that their realization of the ineffectiveness of their seriously declining military power, was one of the main factors that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union, in that very same year, that they had watched the army of their proxy, Saddam Hussein, get annihilated. They knew then that they had no chance in a real fight against the West, and the rest of the world was beginning to find that out, then, too. Yes, we lost Vietnam. But we kept Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, and we got Poland back, and the Ukraine, and several other countries in Eastern Europe, and we kept Finland and Sweden, and all of Western Europe, during the Reagan/Bush era, and the collapse of the Soviet Union. (Of course, I wonder about some of those Western European countries today–whether they will fall, or be taken over…?) But, overall, I think that the world could see the benefit of free enterprise and American capitalism and democracy, as many more embraced it, than were wrenched away from it, like Vietnam was.

You know, Timothy, I think that we would’ve suffered from just as much liberalism and welfare programs under JFK, even if he hadn’t gotten killed. And yes, I believe that the Dems are INCOMPETENT, and that their heavy emphasis on social programs is misguided. But, I also am certain that JFK was killed as a result of his own incompetence, by an accidental gun discharge, from his bungling Secret Service, during the chaos of trying to fend off a real assassination attempt, by Oswald. And that RFK ordered this bungling and incompetence covered up, to protect the Kennedy name, and the Democratic Party. Watch the documentary “JFK: The Smoking Gun”, and/or read the book, “Mortal Error”–and you will see that the forensic evidence points to no other conclusion. The real “insurrection” as you call it, started when the JFK was elected. Heck, even before that: FDR was pretty bad, and Woodrow Wilson, and the Confederacy, and Andrew Jackson–almost every major Democrat in history, for the past 200 years–was a real f#ck-up! And JFK was elected–you guessed it–by a flood of last minute votes coming in from a Dem stronghold in 1960, from Chicago (sound familiar? like the last minute votes flooding in, from other Dem strongholds in 2020, perhaps?) Of course, govt agencies are notoriously incompetent in big bureaucracies, and so the Secret Service hasn’t gotten much better, since 1963 (Reagan got shot, and nearly killed, Trump got grazed, and came close to getting mortally wounded–except for suddenly turning his head to narrowly avoid a kill shot!) Profit-motivated business is what gets the job done, and done right; govt agencies have no such motivation, and so govt services cannot compare with that of private industry. It was profit-motivated business that achieved our overwhelming military production during WWII, that enabled us to win that war–not govt agencies, govt regulations, or govt bureaucracy. Read the book, “Freedom’s Forge”, and you’ll understand what really happened.

I’d love ta join ya, cutting down a tree–I love to split logs–something I learned in the Boy Scouts, decades ago (and still can do, by the way!) I am a RARE Yankee, who LOVES burning the gasoline in my 24-year-old car (as I roar down the highway)–and have voted RED since 2009. I sizzle beef steak in my frying pan, regularly (including earlier tonight)–and I’d love to find some buddies and go hunting for either deer or wild hogs–because I’d love to get and eat some good venison steak, too! I also love hiking through wooded trails, and building roaring campfires, as well. But I live UP HERE, and you probably live way DOWN THERE, right? And this coming weekend, I have the un-exciting task planned, of removing my exhaust system, and installing a new catback replacement system, that I just got shipped to me, from an online order (yuk!) But maybe we could get together and go hunting together at some point, later, in this summer, perhaps? Anyway, burn some dead wood this weekend, for me!
I read comments here, and shake my head… hats off to those who believes the ‘official’ narrative that Oswald, acting alone, shot Kennedy, with a bolt action single shot rifle, perfect shots (WOW!), and the ‘magic bullet’ bounced around the car and hit the gov Conelly as well… omg, all the while the laws of physics were temporarily suspended as his bullet, hitting from BEHIND, caused JFK’s head to jerk BACKWARDS (see the ‘doctored’ zapruder film), then Jackie was reaching over the trunk to ‘help a secret service member’, AS IF that would have been her main concern at that point, not some trivial matter like, say, trying to retreive a piece of JFK’s SKULL that flew BACKWARDS (being that the laws of physics were still temporarliy suspended)… OMG… there is a video you can watch as the secret service is ordered to”STAND DOWN” as the limo turned into Dealey Plaza, and an agent can be seen holding up his hands in shock, “WTF” all over his expression… STAND DOWN… why? to line up the shot, of course, you fool; Oswald was a CIA employee, set up to be the patsy long before that, imagine his surprise when he was told “get to that theatre, we’ll give you orders what to do next” and OMG… WHAT? WAIT, ME? SHOT KENNEDY? ARE YOU NUTS?….. no Lee Harvey, you were set up, just like JFK was, as LBJ was smirking while being sworn in on the plane (YES! I FINALLY GOT the PRESIDENCY), while the coroner found the magic bullet, which bounced out onto the tray on the gurney.. yup, folks that is EXACTLY HOW IT ALL WENT DOWN… any questions? Now get your head back in the sand where it belongs and let me sell you some real estate in Iran…
