Who knew that Charlie Sheen was the sane one ?

I remember when my oldest son wanted to be a ninja turtle. I didn’t run out and try to find a doctor who would turn him into a turtle.

  1. I figured that Cryer was the perfect fit as Alan Harper. He seemed like he didn’t have to act, to fill that role. Obviously, he’s even worse in real life. He’s got terminal TDS and must watch CNN or MSDNC constantly. A few years ago, he was on a few episodes of NCIS. Even though he shaved his head and was playing a doctor, I kept hearing Charlie’s slug brother. I stopped watching NCIS.

    • I never heard of Jon Cryer before. I’ve watched a lot of NCIS and I don’t remember him as part of any cast. I had to look it up and even though I did find him on Wikipedia’s cast list with a picture, I still don’t remember him. I also never watched Two and a Half Men (my husband did) so I don’t know him from there either. I guess I didn’t miss much. My opinion of any celebrity changes as soon as they go woke and show their true selves. It even ruins the character that they portray.

  2. As a Conservative, despite any disagreement with Maher on a variety of subjects, I still appreciate that he is a thinker and does not possess a “herd mentality” – and seemingly open to correction if sufficiently persuaded (by truth/evidence)…I might consider Maher as a mix of “center” and “left-of-center” positions…

Cryer appears to identify more strongly with the “woke” mentality, and the question remains (with me) as to whether he could/would change his views if presented with truth/evidence (whether due to discernment ability, delusion, or outright refusal)…

As a born-again believer, my guide for life issues is God’s Word, the Bible…Genesis 1/2 includes the account of God’s creation of both male and female…there are no biblical verses/passages explicitly (e g.) mandating limits about birth gender assignment, prohibition of sex change, or discussion of gender dysphoria, etc…but, in other parts of the Bible, God expresses His displeasure with (e.g.) homosexuality (male or female) and transvestism (lifestyle) – and there are verses/passages where He promotes the traditional male/female gender roles and identities…so, it is my sense that God would be displeased with many “alternative” gender-/sex-related views put forth by the Liberal community…

In slight disagreement with Matt Walsh, there are instances of hermaphrodite/intersex births where the XY genetics and genitalia are different than those of common male/female genders…the Bible makes no mention of this particular scenario, but it (Bible) does mention the corruption of the Creation (including human life and the environment) that followed the Fall in the Garden of Eden – which might account for the incidences of (e.g.) human inborn errors of metabolism and congenital disorders…with this said, at least from the standpoint of consistency/consensus, most persons would view such incidences as exceptions/non-normative and not merely “different”/co-equal as relating to common birth circumstances…with this stated, I suggest that hermaphrodite/intersex births could fall into the same (exceptions/non-normative) category…(NOTE: My suggestion/view here is not necessarily an “airtight” argument about hermaphrodite/intersex births – but I lean in this direction)…

Overall, I believe that God defines the world as having 2 genders (male, female)…
