If you must get political, just goof on both sides. These guys just spewed nothing but hate for years, nothing funny about that.
I watched Leno for years and I couldn’t tell you where he stands politically. And that’s how it should be.
The thing about Johnny Carsen and Jay Leno is that they joked about EVERYONE. No politician or political party was immune. Now the late night TV host go after Trump and everyone who votes republican and they say little to nothing about the dummycrats. It’s so one sided that there’s NO entertainment value in late night TV.
…and it was actually funny. My husband and I have The Best of Johnny Carson DVD and it is still hilarious. Both Leno and Carson were nonpartisan comedic variety hosts and were equal opportunity jokesters. I didn’t watch much of Leno because I had to be up very early. I watched him sometimes when I had a weekday off work. Carson was on when I was a little girl and he was a household name while growing up. My dad just loved him. The Dem “comedians” are very angry and very dull so also very boring and tiresome. No talent.
Late night TV died when Leno retired. Carson was interesting and innovative. Jay was always entertaining. The jerks on now are just boring. SOS every night. I really, truly don’t give a damn what they think about much of anything and never did. Liberalism is a mental disorder and definitely devoid of humor. We are living with the consequences and reminded every day. Why waste the night too?
None of the late night shows are worth watching. They’re just not funny. Bashing Trump and conservatives is the biggest turn off. Colbert and Kimmel are the worst. I’d watch the WNBA, before watching them. I hope they all get canned.
Used to watch carson and leno almost every night. Don’t watch any of them now. Only angry insulting diatribes.
