First of all, the race swapping is done because your film cannot qualify for any Academy Awards unless the cast includes a very specific number of blacks. Second, if a film used a white person to play Martin Luther King, Jr., or other well known blacks then the “wokes” might understand, but once you’ve changed your sex and destroyed your body, can you ever understand. Nope. Next, they will use a black person to play JFK or Richard Nixon. That these “woke” folks accuse white people of being entitled is a joke. What could be more entitled than claiming a black person has the right to play a well known white person. Doing that is the same as killing or cancelling the white person.
Any film that DOESN’T qualify for some type of academy award might end up being a good movie. The way the academy awards have been going for the last 40 years, the ones that win the awards are the crappiest movies.
I see why J.K. backed away from the Harry Potter series of movies, first of all this has to be a writers worst nightmare when your books are made into movies and the producers decide that they can do justice through changes to what eventually is your vision your ideas. We all read Harry Potter and fell in Love with the characters so as a black woman who’s getting race fatigue can we just stick to the storyline or else this will end up another Woke snow white.
Aside from skin tone, this actor just doesn’t fit the character. He should be sneering and angry. His arrogance should enter the room several seconds before his body does. Just doesn’t happen with Paapa.
Now to you Ryan, why do you feel the need to drop all the f bombs? In my experience, and I AM pretty old, this is something people resort to when they don’t have the verbal expertise to use words effectively. It’s a shortcut to heightened emotion because you fail to bring the listener to the degree of participation you desire using more acceptable language. When you overuse the shortcut, it loses its effect and your words become redundant. The f-ing f-er doesn’t give an f. It’s trite and almost comical. You had some really good logic in the points you were presenting, but this made it a losing post. Do better.
