She is giving out false information…again! I am a woman, I got married and changed my name on everything from my driver’s license to my passport to the deeds on my house and rental properties to my voter registration. I contacted the appropriate agency, got the required forms and submitted them with proper authentication online. No one asked for my birth certificate, only information on the forms that asked where I was born. I did not have to anywhere or wait in line for long hours. I received all my new documents within two weeks. Absolutely zero hassle. A little effort on my part but nothing that blocked me at any point from getting an updated ID or registration. The other alternative for women is don’t change your name. Then your birth certificate will work. Your choice.
