You are correct when you state that this particular trial has set the women’s movement back generations. It takes us back to the era of fainting couches where doctors treated “hysterical” women by slipping a little something between our legs to calm us down. Lindsay Clancy is guilty and admitted it. She deliberately and premeditatively murdered all three of her children. She was completely legally sane at time and should face at minimum life in prison or better yet, the death penalty which is what she did to her kids.
