If we apply the term ‘alleged’ to one party, shouldn’t it be applied to both parties? Or should we eliminate it altogether when no names are mentioned?
Example’s;
Police “allegedly” kill suspect in alleged Islamic terror attack…
OR
Police kill suspect in Islamic terror attack.
If you know Police killed someone and report that, why don’t you know there was an actual attack and report that?
