I disagree that babies born to foreigners who are here legally should automatically receive citizenship.
The women who come here from China to stay out their pregnancy’s in the “maternity hotels” are here legally on visas.
The fact that the Constitution states that babies born to parents from hostile countries makes me wonder why we have freely handed out American citizenship to babies born to parents from non allied countries or why we have allowed so many people from hostile countries into America.
One thing is more and more obvious, our government has done a horrible job of protecting our country and true red, white and blue citizens. It’s also obvious the Constitution has been up for interpretation depending on the governing party’s agenda.
