Why should people who never owned slaves make reparations to people who were never slaves? Slavery ended 161 years ago. That was before my grandparents were born. Besides, not all states condoned slavery.
The people who are asking for reparations aren’t sure if their ancestors were slaves. These people don’t deserve to receive reparations because they think their ancestors were slaves, and because it’s been to many years since it’s just their way of getting free money. Many other people of different races were slaves but you don’t hear them screaming about reparations. Move on and get a job.
