If my millionaire mother sacrificed my education and childhood like this I’d despise her. I hope she enjoys it when her daughter puts her in a “low income” old folks home.
I’m Puerto Rican. My parents grew up poor and gave up a lot so I could attend private school with a bilingual education since they didn’t know English. During the 2008 economic collapse they turned in their cars and stopped buying alcohol just to keep that education going. A great part of my success now is that education they provided for me. I’m forever grateful for them and buy beer and whiskey (the good expensive kind) every time I visit. EDIT: I did not expect this many likes! First time I get this amount. Thanks to all!
