Transgender people require serious psychological evaluation and treatment for mental illness.
Not sure if a psychological evaluation would help , just put her in a padded room close the door, throw the key away.
The alphabet people were diagnosed as having a mental health illness until 1976 when a gay psychiatrist has it changed. It only takes one person to change the minds of many.
DB’s dad wasn’t exactly the shinning example of mental health, so it may be expecting too much to think that she’s totally capable of rational thought. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
