I have to agree with the commentator that it’s ludicrous for Hollywood leftist idiot jerks telling the rest of the country how WE should live when their own backyard is overflowing with problems. Those Hollywood fools have invested their lives into a fantasyland they lose sight of what’s real and what’s fiction. Then the day comes when reality hits them hard. Meathead got hit hard and it cost him his life. Too bad it also cost the life of his wife and caused unimaginable grief for his family and friends.

I didn’t care for Reiner and his political views plus his public TDS but no one deserves to die for their opinions. He even played “Meathead”, an outspoken activist on All in the Family. Kind of like life imitating art. I don’t know why Nick Reiner murdered his own mother and father but I imagine it might have been because of tough love. Sometimes that’s what is needed and not coddling & enabling. Unfortunately it cost them their lives in such a horrendous way. RIP Rob and Michele Reiner and condolences to the rest of the family.
If it was tough love, they waited too long to do it.

Meathead was an appropriate role for Reiner to play, since they both were Democraps. And that’s exactly what Archie Bunker called them; “Democraps”.
Has anyone thought that Nick Reiner could have suffered from squisofrenia. Those people usually kill their parents. I know several cases.
Archie was the butt of jokes and Meathead was considered all things good. But Archie kept a roof over unemployed, professional student Meathead and his wife’s head, fed them and suffered their nasty attitude in his castle. Archie was considered a racist, but Louise Jefferson and her son were welcome in Archie’s home. (George Jefferson seemed to be a little bit racist himself) Archie held a job, actually 2 jobs (drove a cab part time) paid off his house and in the later years of the show, bought and ran a business, and took in a child that needed a home. I think Meathead became a college prof. teaching young minds they can become successful the Socialists way without working for it.
That pretty much somes up the whole run of All In The Family. But in real life, Carroll O’Connor wasn’t a racist and Meathead was. Meathead also divorced his first wife, Penny Marshall, because he was jealous of her success on Lavern & Shirley.
I didn’t agree with his beliefs, and I was annoyed when he made fun of mine. That said, I think his death was horrible, and I pray for peace for his family at this terrible time. I would just like to call your attention to the fact that, while many people disagreed with Reiner’s political opinions, I have seen no one on the right making videos about why they’re glad he’s dead and laughing about it. I guess it’s too much to hope for that people on the Left would see the similarities between Reiner’s and Kirk’s deaths and would then draw conclusions, but we all know it pretty much won’t happen.
