Elon is throwing a temper tantrum because the Big Beautiful Bill cut government subsidies for his electric cars. Why should they get special treatment? Electric cars are NOT very reliable, cause added wear and tear on the roads, and they’re ugly. Electric cars have been tried in the past, going back to the early 20th century when cars were first introduced. The electric car was a flop then, and a flop in the 1960s when the useless experiment was tried and it’s STILL a flop. Maybe in 50 years they’ll get the technology right and affordable, but we are NOT there at this time.
