The owners of that dog are the ones responsible. They trained their dog to be that way. I’ve seen Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, and German Shepards as gentle and playful as a baby kitten. Those owners didn’t want a vicious dog; they wanted a pet. The idiots that owned that Pit Bull should be thrown to the lions. A person and a dog has to suffer because of an irresponsible owner.
Humans had no rights with vicious dogs until the killing of the female across the apartment hallway by the pit bulls kept by two lawyers in San Francisco for their prisoner clients. All of a sudden, the dead victims of these despicable, violent dogs were viewed as victims. I knew of two three year olds torn to shreds and killed by pit bulls, and we used that to force bigger settlements from insurers who then put more pressure on the despicable dig owners who are responsible for these deaths. I have been bitten by a large German Shepard, and attacked by a gang of German Shepard that I fought off. As a bicyclist, hiker and runner, I came across a lot of loose dogs. Most dog owners are very irresponsible.
