This was a YUGE waste of taxpayer money. This monstrosity would incinerate birds alive when they flew into the reflected, concentrated light. This would NOT provide energy 24/7. Solar arrays go offline when the sun sets. My question is, will this fiasco be dismantled and removed? Or will it simply be abandoned and left as a monument of failure?
The electric windmills are slowly being abandoned and left as monuments to failure. In my state they put in a huge solar panel farm beside the nuke power plant, which was going to be shut off, but a business that’s locating in this area will require more power than those solar panels can produce. Sooooooooo, the nuke power plant is going to stay ON!

This was a massive and elaborate ‘Cook County Kickback’ scheme that Democrats are infamous for running. This ‘public works project’ was developed to pay back big donors and other Democrat politicians for their support using taxpayer dollars. George Soros was probably also a recipient much as he was after the 2008 election when his Canadian-registered company got a no-bid contract for the software to set-up the ‘obamacare’ boondoggle.
