I don’t agree with your assessment of Abe Lincoln, but there is one point I do agree with you on, the South’s right to secede. One time I was listening to Rush Limbaugh and when Rush was on vacation, he had Walter Williams a former professor from Georgetown University and is a black man, as guest host. Walter said the south was completely within their rights to secede and there was nothing in the constitution to prevent that. He did say the south seceded for the wrong reasons, but they did have that right.
