When the US Government made it clear to high school students that if they wanted to flee their then current situation, all they needed to do is get pregnant and apply for housing. They would not be allowed to live with a man, and the more bastards they birthed, the more money they’d be handed. I had teenagers explaining this to me. What we should have done is hand out birth control and pay males to get fixed, but since consumers are what’s wanted in America, not citizens, those in control created this mess.

About 25 years ago I did construction work in a high rise office building in downtown Detroit. The back alley that had different stores such as restaurants, clothing, etc was filled with junk and you could barely drive a truck on clean payment. I complained to the building manager about this but nothing got done. The solution to the problem would have all the people who were on welfare show up after the kids went off to school, we would feed them lunch and they could leave to be home when the kids got home from school. That alley could have been cleaned up in a week and move onto the next one. If they failed to work, the jerk-ass politicians would fail to give them welfare. American should be the cleanest country in the world
My wife had to work full-time with two girls. Both daughters work full-time with five kids to support. They pay taxes to support the welfare queens who don’t WANT to work. No sympathy here.

Food assistance started out as distribution of foodstuffs, cheese, flour, butter, etc. The system went to Hell under LBJ. He authorized food stamps, rent assistance, free everything. Thousands of black girls quit school, got pregnant, lived with their boyfriend and voted Democrat. The perfect Democrat result. Time to shut down the party. This whole program has destroyed the black family and community. Educational attainment in the black community has plumetted. Most welfare recipients understand nothing except the SNAP card and free rent. A terrible result to a political driven system.
