Who has not seen the professionally produced work on Sunday night? This was a rare opportunity to see a true professional perform with no frosting and under extreme stress. Well done! What a fitting contribution to the celebration of a President who can pull off the same exceptional effort. All the detractors of either are welcome to their opinions. It is that kind of a country. Seeing this report, and the absurd word, “controversial” attached to it, I became quite upset. Frankly, the only “controversy” surrounding her performance is the brainless, hyper-liberal nastiness emanating from the hopelessly biased democrats who chose to attack Miss Underwood, after rendering the best rendition of the song I have heard in decades. In fact, let me pose a question for all of you: “When was the last time you even heard ANYONE sing this wonderful song?!? It’s embarrassing to see and hear all the negativity thrown out about Carrie Underwood having accepted the role to sing America The Beautiful. What is so awful is that the far left seem to think their way is the only way and can’t fathom that there are always two sides to a story.
