Juneteenth is just another way to give government employees a free paid holiday while everyone has to work or not get paid for that day. Every government employee gets to enjoy this except the ones in the military. Once again, they get the green weeny. But those S.O.B.s that work for the Post Office sure got the day off!
No one asked Americans about giving yet another free, paid holiday to government workers. These June 19th lies are just more B.S. from a Congress that hates Americans and is using resources we no longer have to buy votes from anyone they can. Who really pays for this crap? Right. The government is the enemy. Overpaid, lazy, power hungry government employees and officials are the enemy. Fire 75% of them and watch them apply for welfare. None of them could work in the private sector as they don’t actually have to do or know anything.
By the way, Galveston has an interesting history in the Civil War as there was a Union ship that lost to the Confederates in that port, and one of the Confederate soldiers rushed on board the defeated boat to hold his dying son, Edward Lea, the 2nd in command. His son saw it was his own father Albert Lea holding him and said, “my father is here and now I can go”.
As a black woman I’ve had this argument with other blacks who are Democrats who call me a traitor for being a Republican, but I only have to ask them a couple of questions to short surcit their arguments. Question 1 who freed the slaves?, 2 what side freed the slaves?, 3 who owned the slaves?. And the answer to 1and 2 the Union soldiers, to 3 the Confederate soldiers and the one that really makes them shut up?
The Confederate side was and Still is THE DEMOCRATIC SIDE!
